Student Internet PSA - 1995

this is so much better than the zillion vintage videos of bald guys saying the internet is just a fad.

It would be cool if somebody made a remake of this PSA with those same guys and their opinions on the internet now.

Well it depends how you mean. The ARPANET is generally regarded as the beginning of the Internet and that was created in November of 1969. But it didn't start using Internet Protocol until about 1983 and that's around when it started to merge with other networks. And the World Wide Web, which contrary to popular belief is just one part of the Internet, wasn't even thought of until 1989 and wasn't really easily usable until the Mosaic browser came out in 1993.
